Do I Have Lyme Disease Or Ringworm?

motivation? Motivation!

What does one do not like most other study directly after high school, but first for 4 months to travel abroad. In a country whose language you can not, in the Jungle, where they do without the conveniences most probably need to do work that is certainly not without its dangers?

My biggest motivation is my fascination for animals. Since I am small (the animal lover 's fault!) I love anything that has feathers or fur. I was allowed to live out the true, thanks to the limited enthusiasm of my father, unfortunately, never. The guinea pigs, we had over 12 years had also secretly imported by us. Accordingly, I've always been interested very much for the environment and animal welfare.
long time I wanted to be veterinarian, but an internship in England taught me one better and took me by This dream girl from without limiting the passion.
came four years ago my cousin back tanned and with incredibly impressive photos of a two-month visit to Bolivia. The images of the Puma and the stories have led to this moment since I wanted also to Bolivia.

3 years later I had to then find that it is not easy, for longer than 3 months at Inti Wara Yassi go (tourist visa, thank). Initially convinced that I like a whole year would go there, I spent countless hours and nights on the computer. Some temper tantrums and moments of despair (" Is it really what I want? Is there no alternative? ") later I found the offer of YAP, which provides the opportunity to travel longer there.

Now the school is over and I am very happy experience for the whole Lernerei finally something different. From the initial year are now due to studies and financing plans for 4 months and now I am happy to know a completely different world, while making an important contribution to the preservation of biodiversity. Anyone who has schonmal a little busy with the theme, white, what an important work that is.

Awful Yeast Infection Kidneys Hurt

go Where are my donations?

Spontaneous forwarded beta versions of most, which I told about my project and the fundraising was "?! You must pay your work yourself, but you'll help where it "

Anyone who has their own pet or had know just how expensive such an animal doctor can. From worming the dog up to the cost of the guinea pig ultrasound treatment and medication really something. Similar is the situation at Inti Wara Yassi, where the animals are delivered to the camp injured, some seriously, as it is then just not done with a syringe. Sorry, but no one feels responsible to pay the bill for an animal. And the treatment is on medication + care + very high.

That is why bringing them the best work force with no money, nothing.

And also must have no fear for his money. IWY is an NGO, a non-governmental organization, that is they must not be profit-oriented, if that goes beyond the association's goals.

Finally, there are a few numbers, for those who want to have concrete:

cost of the project (IWY):

$ 80.00 application fee
$ 5.00 / day - Meals: make 600 $ 120-day
$ 300.00 / month - Accommodation: $ 1200 for 4 months makes

+ cost of YAP: one

€ 250
€ 200 per month for insurance, etc. Administrative: Power 800 €

+ shipping cost:

1400 € for the flight

=

about 4000 € + Other travel costs (in Bolivia, vaccinations , equipment ... )

clarify all questions? It is understood that it is for a student part-time jobs, despite a large sum. why I'm looking forward to everyone who supported me!

Bamboo Wall Covering Ideas For Bathrooms

donor letter

My Name Geffert is Karin and I live in the town of Bornheim, which is between Cologne and Bonn. I am 19 years old and I have recently, the school passed. But before I change from learning in school to learn to study, I want something else to know. Therefore I have decided for a IVS-Service (International Voluntary Service), supports the world's communal use projects.

The sending Youth Action for Peace is an international Christian peace organization, the projects in the world offers. My choice has fallen on an unusual project in Bolivia. Under the name of Inti Wara Yassi what is called in German sun, moon and stars, there is a camp in Villa Tunari, a refuge for wild animals in need and at the same time a project for orphans and street children in Bolivia. There, abused and injured animals are nursed back to health by volunteers, with the aim auszuwildern it again. Since this is not possible for all animals, some of them have, for example, never learned to hunt, some are housed permanently in the park. At the same time the consciousness of local people is strengthened by international volunteers work together with Bolivians. Some of them are former street children who learn there for the first time to take responsibility. As sustainable environmental awareness among the locals will be strengthened, and new perspectives and contributed to international understanding.

But this work needs support!

  • The feeling that many people share my experience, is a great emotional support.
  • I also need financial supporters. Youth Action for Peace is a nonprofit organization responsible for paying all costs I must therefore pay for ourselves. This includes accommodation, meals, travel, seminars, insurance and project costs.

As a thank-you for any Form of support

  • I inform regular round mails / blog if my Internet is available, about my experiences, my being and in particular on work in the project;
  • I offer after completion of volunteer service in a presentation by, with whom I would like to bring to pictures a piece of Bolivia to Germany;
  • be issued receipts for donations of Youth Action for Peace, the donations from 50 € are tax deductible.

With a support amount - no matter how much - it promotes the long term and sustainable environmental protection will be strengthened and be made at the same time, new opportunities and jobs for the Bolivian population.
